when smoking, the cherry vanilla diet dr. pepper really sasses around my taste-buds.

on a side note - i've never seen him perform sober (3 out of the 4 times he wasn't even close)

I'm sure they are both good in their own way.

im not sure how sober he was at the dates i saw him play but i mean, he seems kind of hyper all the time sober or not so i guess it makes no difference, as long as he plays just as damn good as usual then it is all fine, and from the sounds of things he was right back on track the other night.

funny story - one of the four of us at the show was a Ryan Virgin. When we got out we were all basking in the afterglow, and she said, "Man he was so wasted."

Everybody - the other three of us, the strangers next to us who were also trying to get a cab - looked at her and said some variation of, "That was the soberest Ryan ever."

Needless to say, she was dumbfounded.

I have a whole new level of respect for the man. Diet coke is definately a smokers drink. It also works if you are a former smoker.

i think coke zero tastes like flat diet coke...but it's drinkable...like, you hate it, but you drink it anyway, and then you want more, even though you aren't sure you like it...

i don't know - somehow i got addicted to it - i thought it was like a bastard child of coke and his mistress diet coke.

i'll tell you this - it's a little less sweet than diet, which makes it much more ideal as a Jack Daniels mixer.

Ever notice the different way Diet coke tastes from different containers? It's the best ice cold with an aluminum can aftertaste. Out of plastic it goes flat and warm fast. Nothing beats glass, but you can't get that anywhere. I remember getting a glass coke bottle out of a vending machine for 25cents, and a pack of hubba bubba for the same.

It's amazing how much things used to cost. And the way thing used to be too. My Mom used to send me to the store when I was 8 to get her a pack of Winston 100's for 75 cents. They never thought twice about selling to me.

haha. Not that I would know (not yet) but i work in a women's oncology office, and i have found that the nice thing about senility (if there can be such a thing) is that the ability to be embarrassed is just about gone.
